Lighting Up St. John: Supporting the St. John Cancer Fund

That’s why we are proud to participate once again in Light Up the Night—a powerful event that unites the St. John community to raise funds for local residents battling cancer.

This annual fundraiser, hosted by the St. John Cancer Fund (SJCF), is an evening of remembrance, celebration, and unity. Residents, visitors, and businesses walk the ballfield in Cruz Bay, honoring loved ones who are fighting cancer, remembering those we have lost, and celebrating survivors who have overcome their battles.

Why This Cause Matters

Since its establishment in 2012, the St. John Cancer Fund has provided over $700,000 in direct financial assistance to St. John residents facing the challenges of cancer treatment. These funds help with medical expenses, travel costs, and essential support—ensuring that no one in our community fights this battle alone.

This vital support is made possible through the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community events like Light Up the Night. The impact of this organization is profound, assisting more than 30 residents each year who rely on these funds to access lifesaving care.

Islandia’s Commitment to Light Up the Night

At Islandia | Christie’s International Real Estate, we are honored to stand alongside our community in support of this incredible cause. Many of our agents, friends, and family will be walking as part of Team Islandia, raising awareness and funds to help St. John residents in need.

Last year, we raised over $2,000, and this year, we’re setting our sights even higher, aiming to raise $3,000 or more to create an even greater impact.
